Merongi & Duckling

Maerongi and Duckling are brothers not by birth, but by bond. Maerongi is the gentle, timid one — easily startled, always a little cautious, yet quietly seeking comfort by staying near other cats and people. He has never shown aggression, just a soft, sensitive heart. Duckling is his opposite in energy — outgoing, playful, and full of life. Food-motivated and social, he was once the center of the shelter’s circle, grooming other cats and bringing everyone together. He is wonderful with both cats and people, though like many, he will need time to build deeper trust. Together, they balance each other — one shy and tender, the other bright and connecting. Some bonds are chosen. Theirs is one of them.
